Question about barlines

• Dec 25, 2021 - 07:12

Hi friends,

I need to write the attached score in the same way in Musescore. The score is from the 16th-17th century and transferred from manuscript to today's notation. This is why it doesn't have any time signature and bar lines (see the attached).
The song looks like it has a 3/8 rhythm. So I create for example 42/8 rhythm and split the measure in the required points (Tools>measure>Split). Somehow this works. But when I do this way system closes the bars at the end of the measures. As you see in the attached file measure ends are not closed until the end of the song. Is there a way to do the same in Musescore?

Right-clink on end barline, Select >All Similar Elements, press V to make invisible. Then click on the final barline and click V to make it alone visible.
