Finding and fixing score errors

When I open a particular score, I getting a warning box appraising me of critical flaws in three of the measures. They all relate to the time signature. The system is expecting a 4/4 measure but, instead, getting some bizarre time signatures like, 1178/1150. How do I fix that?

I go to the measure in question and the signature on the staff is showing 4/4 but something is obviously wrong because the error message flags it and, because when I go to copy and then paste some of the notes in that particular measure(s), the program crashes.
