hide everything (full pages)

Hi,
please consider the following: a whole score is divided into sections with sections breaks and each of them are placed in new page with page breaks. Each section is working as a movement of the piece.
Now, I want to print some of the movements from the beginning and from the end of the piece to pdf (I want to omit the middles) but I want to keep the page numbering of the final pdf continuous.
How can I select sections for printing (can I?), if I want to print only pages 1 and 4 (see sample), but I want to see the page numbering 1 and 2 in the pdf?
In the 'Export' function I am not able select sections, but the full score or part. It is not an option to delete unneeded sections.
Thanks!

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but isn't this just a matter of selecting which pages you want to print from within the Print dialog?

I'm also not understanding the PDF part, is that a separate question or are you asking about using a third part print to PDF tool? That's not normally recommended as they often don't handle MuseScore's internal fonts, but if you have one that works, the same technique should apply. I don't think MuseScore has a native way to export only certain pages to PDF. There is a "save selection" command in the File menu you could try, then export that, but you'd have to also manually set the first page number of the section, in Format / Page Settings.

Hi Marc,
if you select the pages in the Print dialog, that selection will not recalculate the page numbering of the created pdf.
The PDF part of my question is my main question: how to create a pdf from the score, which does not include some pages, and rearrange the page numbering of the rest. I do not want to use third party PDF printer.
You are right, MuseScore has no native way to to this.
I've also tried 'Save selection' and 'Page settings', but it is not possible to select independent areas from the score.

Sorry, it wasn't clear from your original post that you wanted this - I thought you were saying you wanted the page numbers to be correct for each exported section so that you could later assemble them and the page numbering would be consecutive.

What you're describing doing isn't something I've heard of people trying to do before, so it's a bit hard to be sure what it is you're actually doing. If you give some more information about the overall project and why you're considering this somewhat unorthodox methodology, maybe we can think of better ways still.
