Chromatic Note Entry and Display

As it stands it seems like there are only keyboard shortcut note entry options for each note letter on the staff ledger. For chromatic and atonal composition it would be useful if there were also assignable keyboard shortcuts for each of the 12 chromatic notes regardless of key signature. Additionally it would be useful if there was support in the staff/part menu for chromatic staves (where each line corresponds to a unique chromatic note). Both tools would be incredibly useful for all sorts of non-tonal music!

In addition, another useful tool could be pitch numbered notehead scheme - where instead of each note having its letter name in the notehead instead each note would have a number 0-11 representing its pitch class. This would be quite useful for analysis since it would allow one to more readily see tone rows in a composition.

I could probably write a plugin that would accomplish this based on editing some of the code from the existing note names plugin - I'll give that a try and see where it lands. Having the numbers in the noteheads is a lot nicer and feels less hacky but I guess that's something to bring up with the music font people?

Ah, I tried searching for this on the keyboard shortcuts but didn't find it until now! That gives a potential workaround - I think it would work to write a script to map an individual key to a key combination for a sharp or natural + a note letter so that one could enter in notes chromatically. I wonder if this could also be accomplished via plugin? I'm not really familiar with how musescore works under the hood.

I don't think musescore supports the same key corresponding to multiple simultaneous shortcuts, but that could be an even easier solution if it did.
