Can I make custom pitches for each note?

I want to transcribe for an instrument that is locked into the harmonic series, and I would like playback to be able to have the correct pitches.

There's a scordatura plugin that might help. I tried it quite hopefullyfor actual scordatura purposes. And I was in regular dialog with the plugin developer, but then communication ceased. I found the plugin quite promising, and from a UX perspetive it was both impressive but awkward and confusing to me. In the end I found it too buggy overall, and there was no further guidance from the developer, no written documentation, so sadly I dropped it. But it may work for you and your goals! I'll see if I can locate it ... and some of the discussions.

I think detuning affects timbre in noticeable ways. It works in a pinch ..., and acceptably maybe for a semitone or two. But it won't sound identical to the timbre of the pitch of the "sound font" x semitones lower. Try an octave lower—I think that will bear me out. More ideal would be a MID offset!
