Musescore Freezes ... if I've used Skype
Hi everyone. Musescore has been brilliant and very stable ... right up to early January. Since then if I have used Skype at all, Musescore will freeze after only a handful of mouse clicks. If I reboot my machine and use Musescore first, it's fine. Perhaps it's Skype that's leaving something hanging around in the background, but either way, it makes it really hard for me to do my stuff.

Try pressing the MIDI input icon on the toolbar twice after using Skype.
Also check whether windows allows "exclusive access" to your audio devices. By default Skype is given that so it can automatically adjust your speaker and microphone levels. This'll lead to MuseScore being left with an invalid reference to your audio system, and then waiting for that indefinitely when trying to playback something itself (such as during note input).
Toggling that MIDI input icon will force MuseScore to refresh it's information on your audio system.
