Repeat flags in my musescore arrangments

This might be a stupid question, but somehow these signs that look like flags got inserted into my score and it repeats the part from the sign pointing right to the sign where the flag points to the left. I have tried to click to delete, and I cannot seem to figure out how to get rid of them or how they got in there in the first place. I admit, I am not very savvy at musescore and it would be great to figure out how to get rid of these!!
