Hide Rests
Hi, I'd like to print an empty group of measures for a lesson. How can I hide the rests that MuseScore automatically inserts into empty bars?
Thanks!

Thank you!
The same way you hide anything in Musescore. Select the rests and use keyboard shortcut V or uncheck the Visible option in the properties panel.
See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/properties-panel#visibility

Thanks much.
BTW, I searched the handbook for "Hide rests" and that page was not found.

That's because hiding elements is not special to rests
You can make the rests invisible by selecting them and pressing "V" or adjusting the measure properties. Another option is using the "Style" settings to prevent automatic rest insertion. This should give you empty bars without affecting spacing. Hope that helps, and good luck with your lesson!
