Invisible staff lines - can I make them all invisible except for the one on middle C?

Is there any way to show middle C with a line through it, and none of the other staff lines? (so music is floating on the page with no staff, but middle C has a line through it) When I turn off the staff lines it takes the middle C line with it. My fix for now has been to take a text line and just put it over the C's, but this is a little tedious so I was wondering if there is anything better I can do.

Without really knowing what you are doing this for, the following may or may not help:

Right-click on a measure and choose Stave Properties. Set Lines to 1. Click on the Advanced Style Properties button and un-tick Show leger lines. Press OK. Then, make sure you are using Advanced palettes and change the treble clef to a Baritone C-clef.

Hi, thanks for your response. Gave me another way to think about it. I'm making music for kids who haven't learned the staff yet. Was hoping I could use middle C as a reference point
