Saving a Score on MuseScore
I am composing a piece using Musescore and when I go to save it to come back to it later I haven't noticed anything that says I have saved it. Is there anything that helps me know that it has been saved?

The file should be in whatever folder you saved it. Navigate to that folder by "drilling down" through your operating system's hierarchy and you should find the file right where you saved it.
Also, if you are about to close a score with any unsaved additions, MuseScore will ask if you wish to save it before closing.

A score with unsaved changes will also have a star '*' at the end of it's tab
