Sicne you already have your instruments on separate staves, you don't need the explode facility - that's for taking music that was written on a single staff and splitting it into separate staves. All you need to do is generate parts for the staves that are already there. That's File / Parts, then click the "All Parts" buttons. For more info, see the Handbook section on Parts.
