Using your own Midi Controler
I just got my midi controller today and trying to get it all set up when I know it is all setup where do you go into the program to bring it up verse the built in keyboard and to make sure it is working correctly?

It's not really clear what you are asking here, but assuming you have it all connected and turned on before starting MuseScore, you don't normally need to do anything else special. You can then use it exactly the same way you'd use your computer keyboard or the on-screen Piano Keybaord window - once you are in note input mode and have selected a duration, pressing a key on your MIDI keyboard will do exactly the same as clicking one in the Piano Keyboard window or typing a letter.
