Opening a file
I sent myself a composition I'd been working on, and saved + opened it on my device. Finished working on it, saved it, closed it. When I went to open it again, I noticed the file type was just "File" and not MuseScore compressed or whatever it's supposed to be. Wouldn't open, says it's an unknown type. I'm stuck with a file that won't open. How do I change it back to a MuseScore file?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try adding the extension to the file. Attach it here and someone will take a look
Also say what OS you are on. On most systems, the file type is determined by the filename and really nothing else. So if you saved it without the ".mscz" extension, that would explain it. Simply rename it to add the ".mscz" and all should be well,
