In 3.6.2, slurs randomly migrating up or down

I'm having a lot of trouble in 3.6.2 with slurs randomly migrating vertically. I discovered that selecting the slur and disabling Automatic Placement on it will return it to its intended position. Has anyone else experienced this?

And if there is a change in system breaks, IIRC I find the same slur to have AutoPlace re-enabled.

Is there any way to turn off Automatic Placement on slurs (and ties?) for an entire score, and keep it off?
