Swap note and rest
Hi, this seems like it should be simple, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I just want to swap the dotted quarter and the last eighth rest. I've tried numerous things. Could anyone please help? Thank you.

Hi, select the quater note, tape 4, you have an eight note, copy it (ctrl C), tape 0 (zéro) , you have an eight rest
On the following eight rest paste the eight note (ctrl V).....you have an eight rest and an eight note. Select the eight note, tape 5 +"." (the number 5 and the 'point" under the 3) you have your dotted quater note
Indeed. You can't think of it as swapping a note and a rest. You have to think of it as creating an 8th rest (on beat three) followed by a dotted quarter.
