Is there a downloadable Violin string for MIDIs?
Simply looking for a Violin string to replace Piano (.Pno), seems like I need to download it first though. Does musescore have a library of previewable violin files?

Is your question about playback of scores (imported MIDI-file?) within MuseScore?
Or are you asking about how to use the "sounds" (soundfonts) used by MuseScore to play midi files using some other midi-player application?
It's not clear what you are asking, but if you want to create a score for violin n, simply choose violin as your violin when you create your score. If you're already created a score for piano - or have started from the empty sample score displayed by default - change it to violin by right-clicking the staff, then selecting Staff/Part Properties, then click Change Instrument.
