Cannot add new instrument to my score. Only adds to first 4 bars. PLEASE HELP
Hi, Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or have done wrong to the attached score.
When I add Acoustic Bass as a new instrument it only adds to the first line. I cannot get it to add to the entire score.
PLEASE HELP.

There are several problems with this score. Starting with the lack of key signature. The melody instrument was deleted at the beginning, which seems to have something to do with why bass can only be added to the first four measures. I delete those measures and add bass to the entire score. But trying to add the piano intro only removes the bass, except for the first four measures.
I can only get this far...

When I add Acoustic Bass as a new instrument it only adds to the first line.
You have 'Hide empty staves within systems' checked in Format > Style > Score.
Uncheck it to see the empty bass staff.
