Can you help with Haydn 72?
The Symphony In D Major, Hob.I:72 was written by Franz Joseph Haydn. It has many concertante passages throughout the second and fourth movements. In the score, the solo violin, solo cello and solo bass are not shown, except for variation 2 for cello, variation 3 for violin and variation 4 for bass. How can they play all of the symphony without being shown, except for variations 2-4?

What are you missing from the responses about the "HIde when Empty" options as given in https://musescore.org/en/node/320590#comment-1133443 ?
Are you asking how a orchestra would do it or how MuseScore would do it?
