You don't, you just run it directly from that folder. E.g., on Windows, double-click the ".exe" file in explorer, or on Linux, make sure the AppImage is executable and double-click it in your favorite file browser. Actually, on Linux, you can install nightly builds same as others, but running the AppImage from the command line with the "install" option. No idea about macOS.
