Musescore not opening
I've used MuseScore for about half a year now, but recently it has stopped working. When I try to open the program, it fails to open at all for several minutes, and once it starts opening it takes a few minutes before it even loads. It makes the program borderline unusable, doesn't even open half the time, and just fails to respond. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it has done nothing. What should I do?

Two things tend to slow down startup: large soundfonts, and a missing default printer. The soundfonts slow things down because MuseScore needs to load them and possibly uncompress the sounds within them. The missing printer because MuseScore looks for your default printer to decide what your preferred page size is.
Revert to factory settings will remove the soundfonts - not delete them from your system, but make it so they aren't loaded by default. But you may still need to investigate the situation with your default printer.
