MDL Bass Drum Note Names incorrect

Hi, I was trying to use Color Notes for our Bass Drum Line in a score where I have used MDL. The colors for several of the notes were the same, so I dug a little further. When I used the Note-Name plug-in, the notes returned were all over the place (in the staff spaces C#, then C, then C, then A). Is there a way to set the notes correctly in the Bass Drum staff so that I can use ColorNotes? The sound doesn't need to change, just what the note is reported as in MuseScore.
