Cannot remove line in imported score
I downloaded from Choralwiki a mxl file of a choral piece and imported it into MS, but it has the staves (top empty) instead of the normal grand staff keyboard part. I have combed through the manual and cannot get anything to work in order to delete this useless top line. Could someone please help me figure out how to do this? I need it for a Ukraine benefit concert program. Thanks in advance!

In either file, hit "I". In the right window select the top line. Hit "Remove From Score".

For future reference, this is the bit of the handbook that you didn't find https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/create-new-score#instruments-and-vo… It is somewhat unexpectedly placed in the Create New Score section.
The handbook currently in preparation for the eagerly awaited MuseScore V4 seems much better organised.
