Search Bar for Soundfonts in Mixer Window
Changing the soundfont of an instrument would be made less tedious with the addition of a search bar. For example, instead of scrolling to each soundfont for violins, it would be easier to be able to type "violin" and have all instruments with that name show up.

Check the MuseScore 4 nightly builds - the mixer is entirely redesigned, now you simply select the soundfont itself.
Meanwhile, you don't need to scroll in MuseScore 3. This is a standard dropdown list, so the usual technique of typing the first few letters of a desired item to jump to the next match works.
