Keyboard shortcut to adjust hairpin start position

• Oct 21, 2022 - 19:01

Handbook3 says to adjust a hairpin's ending position: select it then use SHIFT-arrow.
But how do I adjust the start position?
I recall someone advise I should squint and snip the tiny red start handle (or double click?), then I can adjust using SHIFT-arrow.
Someday I discovered I could also press TAB to select that handle too, which ruin the fun. How do you adjust the start position? Is this TAB function written down somewhere in the handbook already? Should I add it?
Also Handbook4 adjust a line

Tab is definitely the way to move focus from handle to handle, although clicking the handle should work too. Not sure what you mean about it being tiny and red; the anchor is that, but the handle are larger and are black hollow squares:

It's more a zoom difference - the handle size stays fixed as you zoom in out (because otherwise, you'd have unusably small handles when zoomed out, and comically large ones zoomed in).

Still even in your picture, the handle looks to be at least half a staff space tall. Should be perfectly selectable at that size.
