Left and upwards hooks in lines in MS4

I am trying to make a begin hook in the left in a line but I can only see the option for end hook. Besides, to make the hook upwards in MS3 you would input a negative number but it does not accept that in MS4. ( Although it shows correctly the hook and the negative number if I open a document made in MS3 with the upwards hook in it). I don't know if I am missing something or if it is a bug.
