So im trying to make guitar tabs and i cant figure out how to add another line. I have 3 lines which obviously isnt enough for an entire song of guitar.

Insert/Append measures? https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/measure-operations
You should have as many measures as you asked for when you created the score; the default is 32 if you don't choose to enter different number instead. If you need more now, append measures is indeed the way.
