How to make my musescore sheet on musescore.com free to download?

Is there a way for me to allow anyone to download my sheet music in musescore.com without them having to pay for pro? I'm not sure how this mostly works

You might get more accurate answers by asking your question over on that platform (see https://musescore.org/en/faq#faq-20657).

From what I gather you can only lift download restrictions if your upload is an "original composition" or in the public domain.
If the score is still under active copyright, then no, you don't have the rights to give it away for free.

Darn good question. I seem to be really dense about this .COM / Pro subscription thing. When last month (Oct 2022) I purchased a Pro subscription, somehow I {got the impression} my entirely original sheet music couldn't be downloaded except by .COM users who had the Pro subscription. Note: {got the impression}

I had some back-and-forth with .COM account support about this. In the end, I REBUILT my personal, music-centered website so it would unquestionably, concretely allow anybody to download my sheet music, no matter what rigamarole there is about the .COM / Pro repository. That way, if a user (Pro or NOT) on the .COM website sees my music --- and they CANNOT download my stuff, I give them clear instructions how to download FREELY from https://www.gandsnut.net

I have not cancelled my Pro subscription because I choose to financially support the whole MuseScore effort. I would have RATHER not had to rebuild my personal website, but, hey, anybody who finds my sheet music completely OUTSIDE the MuseScore world, will be able to see, and listen to my compositions...
