Title text letter spacing
Hi everyone. I'm having trouble when I try to erase part of the title text. It seems there's a huge space between the last letter and the text bar and when I try to erase something, it messes text up. I already re-installed the software but the problem persists. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Gabriel de Barros, can you share the file? Did you try vertical frame properties

Hi! No, I did not try but Marc was right: it happens when I use my second screen. Thank you!
As mentioned, we'd need to see the actual score. Also, it isn't clear what you mean by "text bar" in your phrase "between the last letter and the text bar". Maybe you mean the cursor? Could be there is simply a space there you need to delete.

Hi Marc! Sorry about that! Yes, I was trying to say text cursor. And yes, I'm using a second screen as you asked. Is there a way to use two screens and not experience this kind of thing?
Hi, I am also having this problem. For me, it occurs in any system text, stave text, or title text. The problem seems to be a calibration issue between the visual width of a letter, and how far musescore is moving the cursor along when a letter is added (i.e. further than is necessary, such that the cursor is a long way to the right of the text when you finish typing). It also leaves space in the textbox, as if there are letters taking up this extra space. The problem is amplified for me by using bold or italics. I will attach the file I am working on. The problem can be observed in the title pane, with spaces before and after bold text, as well as after the 'arranged by' lines.
Thanks

Are you by chance using multiple monitors with different resolutions? That's a known issue in that case. For me, your file looks correct and nothing unusual happens when editing any of the text in the title box.

Yes, I am using multiple monitors. It turned out that they were using the same resolution, but with different scalings. On my laptop monitor I was using the recommended 125% scaling, whilst on my external monitor I was using the 100% scaling. I have now switched them both to 125% and it is working well. Thanks for your help.
Interestingly, when I set both screens to 100% scaling, both of the screens had the problem instead of just one. I don't know if that's because musescore 'opened' on the laptop screen with the 125% scaling, and so was set up for that or something. I might have a play with opening it in 100% scaling and seeing if that works...

Update: I have just tried, and was able to open musescore with 100% scaling and it is working just as I wanted it to. Thanks so much for your help with this - it is very appreciated.

Yes, it happens with any kind of text. And seems to be a screen width issue as you mentioned. Thank you.
I want to thank you all for your time and help. I set my second screen (the larger one) to the same configuration of my notebook screen and it was enough to stop this text issue.
Best regards!
