Regression in MuseScore 4: can't color different chord notes in different colors if they are in the same voice
I've noticed a behavior that changed since MuseScore 3. In MuseScore 3 if I have a chord and I want to color its notes in different colors, I can always do that. In MuseScore 4, all notes within the same voice seem to share the color property - unless I change the note voice, I can't change its color separately.
A possible workaround for my case is to assign all chord notes to different voices - but this breaks the layout of beams and creates unnecessary cluttery beams

As I made a small reproducer and dug into, the cause seems to be that MuseScore 4 places the \< color \> node one level above of where it needs to be. Please see the screenshots
I can confirm in current builds. I think other note properties have similar issues that are already reported, so it might not be necessary to open an issue for this specifically. But to be safe, it wouldn't hurt to submit this on GitHub as requested in the beta announcement, to be sure the developers see this.
