measure number=0 not preserved when exporting to musicxml

when I import a musicxml file (see pickup-measure.musicxml) in musescore that has first measure:
measure number="0"
and subsequently export this file back to musicxml, the exported file has first measure:
measure number="1"
(see pickup-measure-musescore-export.musicxml)
Also the measure numbering is changed. Is there a way for musescore to preserve the original measure numbering?
