Possibly (and/or probably) because it contains peer-to-peer code to accelerate the downloads. Please report this on Github so the devteam can further investigate and/or notify TrendMicro of this.

Meanwhile, if it's causing some sort of problem other than the false alarm, you can disable the community acceleration feature in the settings for Muse Hub.

But even if you disable "community acceleration", muse-hub.service is still communicating with the tracker.

I can certainly see why trend micro sees this as a thread.
There is also a security problem with muse-hub.service running with a privileged account.
