Gliss up from across a rest across a measure bar into a note
Transcribing a piece of music that has a gliss (or scoop) that starts from within a multi-measure rest and ends on the first note of the following measure. I interpret this as wanting the scoop to start before the first beat of the measure.
I can adjust the "slide in below" line to cross the measure bar, which is what I want (see what_I_want.png). Unfortunately, as soon as I touch anything else, the note and line are moved within the destination measure (what_I_get.png). This auto-prevent-overlap is generally a very useful feature of musescore, but I can't figure out how to stop it in this case.
I tried unchecking "Automatic Placement" for the gliss, the note, and the measure bar, but this doesn't seem to change the behavior.
In case it matters, I adjusted the position of the measure bar at the end of the multi-measure rest by 3.50sp in x to provide the empty space for the line to start in.
Using MuseScore OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548021803, revision: 3224f34

Seems like selecting the notehead and setting "leading space" to -2 or so will do it. I see why you're frustrated though, any of those things logically should have worked.

Thanks! "Leading space" was the trick!
