bas to violin key
Hallo,
I started using Musescore yesterday and I found this score:

Is there a way to translate it to violin key? I would like to play that on 2 trumpets with a friend of mine.

Easiest way: Right click on the stave, Staff-/Part Properties. Then change instrument to trumpet. Do it for both staves.
You may need to transpose the notes up an octave afterwards: Select all (Ctrl-A), use Ctrl-Arrow Up to move them one octave up.

Yes, many ways.
My proposal is do the following.
- Open the score (but don't change anything)
- Create a new empty score with two trumpets (now both scores will be open, in different tabs)
- copy the content of the two trombone staffs to the new empty staffs in the new score.
- Select the new staffs and transpose them both up one octave.

Yes, even more options :-).
Add two trumpets in the existing score.
Copy the trombone staffs to the trumpet staffs. Transpose them up one octave.
The trombones may be then muted in mixer and switched invisible in the instrument list or deleted totally.
