change instrument voice help
I'm working in musescore 4 and I am using the piano + voice template. The voice is set to "choir" probably by default. How do I change this or where do I changes it so it's a different sound for example I want a mellow grand piano sound? I looked through some of the learn videos but I didn't see anything that could help me.

Could you tell me how you did it? I'm drawing a blank as well. I have custom soundfonts that don't have normal instrument names & don't see anything in the mixer like MS3.

The function to select different (non-GM) patches is currently lacking and to be reinstated in a future update.
In the meantime you could use the Sforzando or Sfizz free VSTs. Have MuseScore load that VST and then the UI from that VST will allow you to load your SoundFont and select a patch in it.
