Using .dll files with MuseScore 4

I was excited to hear that MuseScore 4 would support vst’s but I just realized that the vst’s I had are actually .dll’s. I couldn’t find anything online about using .dll’s and was wondering if there is a way to get them working with MuseScore 4.
