1) Add 2 instruments
2) Add 2 measures of notes
3) Add loop markers on the first measure
4) Select a measure (so that only the selected instrument will play)

Playback ignores loop markers and proceeds to the second measure

I can reproduce this issue. The workaround is to solo the desired instrument in the mixer panel, which does not affect Loop Playback mode.
