muse hub on macbook not working properly?

Not sure if it's a bug, server overload or what. When I launce Muse Hub, nothing happens as far as I can tell. If I try to delete the app, it says it can't delete because it's in use. There is no Muse Hub icon on my dock that would indicate it's running, so I feel like I'm at a standstill. I'm trying to install the new sounds into Musescore 4. So far, I'm not liking how this works, although the new interface is quite nice.

I am experiencing exactly the same issue on my MacBook Pro 2019 with macOs 12.5.1 (Monterey). It opened only to install Musescore, but now that I want to install the sample libraries I can't get it to work. Re-installing or removing is impossible, because it keeps saying that it is in use (even after a restart).
