All notes not heard during preview

I am writing a piece for the handbells. Due to the lack of a soundfont for handbells, I am using a piano. When listening to a preview not all the notes are being played. If I switch to a different instrument (I tried violin) I think that I heard all of the notes. I tried to export with the same results. It appears that there is a limit to the number of notes (at least with the piano soundfont) that can be played back at one time.

I am using Musescore 4. I tried the same in Musescore 3 with the same results.

Please advise.
