Add the ability to save/load custom template
Hi everyone,
I would like to make my first contribution to MuseScore4 and add in the new sheet section a way for the user to save custom template.
Use case : The user composes sheet for his band and it is always the same band. However, he has to add manually every instruments each time he composes a new song.
Solution : User can save a custom template in "Create from template" section
My questions are :
- Is this feature already in a pipe ?
- Is that a bad idea for some reason I don't know ?
- Do I have the right to code and suggest new ideas ?
Best regards
Josquin

That is indeed how it should work. But in my situation (musescore 4 on MacOs Monterey) I don't see the custom templates when I want to create a new file from a template. I only can select one of the templates that come preinstalled with musescore.

After a restart of my system they appeared, at least some of them. So it seems to me that this is not stable, yet.
I have 6 files in the templates folder, but only 2 appear in the Custom Templates dialogue. Both of them with a generic title and not the title that I have in the file properties or a title based on the file name.
