Automatic numbering for multi-measure repeats does not seem to work

I have a drum part with a repeated 2-bar phrase, so I'm using 2x multibar repeat. Apart from the known problem with not doing playback properly, I'm also finding that the courtesy count numbering doesn't work, as set in Style/Bar Repeats (it works for single bar repeats).
