Add Image function: image will not resize in MS4
Musescore 4.0.0.233472200, Revision: 5485621
Windows 11, Home (full) on a PC & Laptop
In MS3 I got into the habit of including some cover art in the MS file because it prints better (page #, etc).
I have installed the most impressive MS 4 and am trying to wade through all of the changes and got totally blocked on this one.
In MS4 after creating a new vertical frame at the front of the file and then importing the image it appears the rest of the resizing and position functionality is missing. I checked the MS 4 manual and it appears to indicate similar functionality to MS3, but I am unable to access the resize & reposition bits. Additionality, the double click on the imported image (instructions from the manual) does not select the image and right clicking on the image and selecting "Edit element" does nothing.
I can use Photoshop to resize the image (repeatedly) until I get the correct size as a work around, but I liked the funcitonality you had in MS3 for sizing and positioning the image.
Is this functionality on the "Yet to do" list or is there a bug here?
Thank-you,
Cliff

I found out how to resize
The catch is that the frame must be smaller than the image.
Otherwise, the frame "overlaps" the image so you can't really select it.
So the steps are:
1. Make the frame smaller than your image by dragging
2. Resize your image
3. Resize the frame.
