Changes to Copy of Part also Change Original Part

I'm transcribing a trombone quartet and I wanted to make a copy of the first part in bass clef and tenor clef, but when I make a copy of the first part and change the copy to tenor clef, the original first part also changes to tenor clef, and vice versa.
