How to separate one part with two staffs that resulted from importing a pdf file containing two staffs
Does anyone know how to separate the two staffs into two separate parts?

enter a new instrument, piano if you want . In the first "2 staves", delete or hide the 2nd save . In the second "2 staves" delete or hide the 1st stave

It wouldn't let me do that. I have tried.

The piece was not created in Musescore. It was a piece I downloaded from the internet. I tried copy/cut and paste and it didn’t copy. I have looked through all the helps trying to find a solution. Thanks for responding.

So, do you have a MuseScore file or not? If you have a MS file then post again and attach the file. If it's a PDF or some other file then I suggest you transcribe it into MuseScore - that means you create a new score and you add the notes to the new score yourself.

You have confirmed my suspicions. I was hoping Musescore could have converted the pdf file into a workable musescore file. Thanks.
