Hide Instrument name
If you want Piano three staves you are stuck with 'instrument name' in lowest stave. As Piano 2. Am not going to Version 4 as Master Palette does not show. Why change that? I mean, you need to set up two piano staves and delete part of one of them. Clumsy.

You can delete staff names just select and delete. You can also simply add a staff to an existing instrument - no need to set up two instruments for this.
Not sure what you mean about the master palette in MuseScore 4 - nothing has changed about that at all. it isn't normally needed for anything except to access Symbols, It's kind of a holdover from a much older version that didn't already have everything on the main palettes for much easier access, but so far at least, it hasn't been removed.
