App not functioning as expected -new user

I just installed the app on my iPad. When I started it the first time immediately I was prompted to buy a subscription. I ended up buying a year subscription which I thought came with a 7 day trial. That does not appear to be the case as I’ve already been charged for the year.

Next I was prompted to create and account. This was an exercise in extreme frustration. After entering the required information the screen never advanced. After trying several times, I just selected skip login. I ended up into what I now believe to be your web site, although I didn’t know it at the time.

From the web site I saw a like to login/create account which I was able to do with no problems. However the web site does not recognize that I have already paid for a subscription. So I restarted the app and tried to log in, but the app does not recognize my login credentials???

Please advise.
