I'm using the release version of MuseScore 4.0 on Windows 10 22H2
Steps to reproduce:

Create a measure with a crescendo that ends with some sort of dynamic marking, p, mf, ff, etc. (refer to m. 4 of the attached file)
-
Put another dynamic marking at the start of the next measure. It should play the instrument at the specified dynamic marking, but it doesn't.
