The mixer may be what you're looking for. It's under view > mixer (shortcut: F10).
Unfortunately, the functionality of the synthesizer wasn't included in version 4. See https://musescore.org/en/node/340112 and https://musescore.org/en/node/338603.

I am very disappointed that the synthesizer is not included in version 4.0.
Are there any plans to bring it back in later versions?
If not what is the procedure to ask for features like this to be included in the upcoming releases?
Yeah I just discovered that!
I need it to change the diapason from 440 Hz (without the synthesizer there not even a information of the reference value!) to 442 Hz for playing with my instrument.
