MuseScore 4 Playback is silent
I have just downloaded MuseScore 4 and whenever I press play to listen to my composition, I cannot hear anything. The mixer claims that there is volume and I have checked that it is working in my system sound mixer settings. I have also tried to follow all the advice on the MuseScore help page but there isn't a synthesiser anymore and none of the other tips seem to have made much of a difference. Any advice please? I suppose that this is a good place to note that previously you could reset audio settings which usually corrected playback problems. But that doesn’t exist in the new I/O menu of MS4.
