Dotted quarter notes play as two notes

I was composing for trombone and every dotted quarter note sounds like a quarter note and then an eight note after which makes it sound pretty bad.

Please attach the score that you are experiencing this in. Dotted quarter notes on trombone sound fine to me but sometimes if you have other instruments playing then your ear thinks it is hearing a separation.

It happens in the new trombone playback, but I am pretty sure it cannot be other instruments because it happens when i just put a singular dotted quarter note down for the trombone and no other instruments, when I upload it it changes to the default musescore trombone sound and you cannot hear it anymore.

I got this with the Muse Sounds trombone in one of my scores. I also noticed some notes playing slightly early, which is probably the same issue. Interestingly, when I replaced all the instruments as if I was starting again the issue was fixed. I also had dynamics problems (eg. a huge difference between 'mf' and 'f' in trombone and other instruments) which were also resolved this way.

Annoyingly, a few days later the problems have reoccurred, and I haven't the patience to replace all the parts again. When I play the instrument solo in the mixer, I get the same issues. When I copy and paste the bars to a different instrument, the issue is not present on the other instrument. When I copy and paste the bars to a new score with just a trombone part, the issue is not present. Something's wrong with my score or combination of instruments.
