Shortcut compatibility with Sibelius, Finale etc

• Nov 14, 2009 - 18:11

I've installed MuseScore a couple of days ago. This piece of software seems to be very promising. My major problem was that note entering was really slow for me, just because I didn't know the shortcuts. So... I'm wondering: Is there any way to save the Shortcut combinations in separate files, in order to be able to make compatible sets to Sibelius, Finale etc.? In this way, let's say the Sibelius experienced user would not waste ANY time at all to start using MuseScore. I suggest that a Shortcut combination should have the ability to be saved in a file and maybe some users of MuseScore can make these shortcut combinations that will make MuseScore shortcut compatible to other music notation software.

Thanks a lot!

I guess the shorcuts are not enough. Finale and Sibelius have their own input method too. And MuseScore has this own way of entering notes.
